Salgrom designed and implemented an aerosol extinguishing system for Finland's first industrial-scale renewable green hydrogen production plant in Harjavalta, Satakunta.

The complex covers electrolysis, methanation, electrical and automation facilities, where safety requirements are exceptionally high. The system is designed to meet the risks of a demanding process environment, ensuring fast and reliable fire control without interruption to critical operations. The site's 20 MW electrolysis capacity produces green hydrogen using renewable energy. The project strengthens Salgrom's position as a supplier of advanced fire safety solutions for industrial sites.
