Ritmacon designed and manufactured the tools for ultrasonic welding, which guaranteed a watertight and error-free welding seam in the manufacture of Rapala lures.

Rapala is the world's leading lure manufacturer. Rapala's modern production technology and product development are seamlessly combined with traditional Finnish lure construction skills. The most world records around the world are obtained repeatedly every year with Rapala wobblers. Ritmacon was tasked with designing a solution by which the injection-molded lure halves could be connected to each other by ultrasonic welding. A particularly important requirement was that the welding seam should be completely watertight and flawless. Ritmacon designed and manufactured the tools, the sound head and the jig, tailored to exactly this need. During the project, we ensured the accuracy and tightness of the welding seam using Rincon's new electronic e-motion welding press. After extensive tests, it was confirmed that the solution met all the requirements set by the customer and exceeded expectations in terms of both quality and process efficiency.
