Water consumption was already moderate, but replacing shower heads with SJW energy-saving showers still brought significant savings. According to the management company's consumption report, water was consumed in January–June 2022 in total 1,226.0 m³, compared to 1,360.9 m³ in the same period a year earlier. Total water consumption therefore decreased by approximately 10%, or 134,900 liters in half a year, and hot water consumption decreased by 7.5%. Since the house is heated with district heating, the total calculated savings in water and energy are approximately 1,410 euros per year, or approximately 36 euros per resident. A small change produces savings with every shower, even in a housing company where water is already used judiciously.
